Important information about liability and assumption of risk
Important Notice
All participants must sign a physical Waiver and Release of Liability form before participating in any training. This page provides a summary of the waiver terms. The actual waiver will be provided at check-in on your training day.
Assumption of Risk
By participating in firearms training with Seraph Tactical, you acknowledge that:
- Firearms training involves inherent dangers and risks of serious injury or death
- These risks include but are not limited to: accidental discharge, ricochets, hearing damage, eye injuries, burns, and other injuries
- You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation
- You have been advised to consult with a physician before participating in physically demanding training
Release of Liability
Participants agree to release and discharge:
- Seraph Tactical and its owners, employees, instructors, and agents
- All other participants in the training
From any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action arising from participation in training activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Medical Acknowledgment
By signing the waiver, you confirm that:
- You are in good physical health and capable of participating in firearms training
- You have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation
- You are not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that could impair judgment or coordination
- You will immediately inform the instructor of any medical concerns that arise during training
Agreement to Follow Safety Rules
You agree to:
- Follow all safety rules and instructor directions at all times
- Use all required safety equipment (eye and ear protection)
- Handle firearms only when directed by the instructor
- Immediately cease all activity if a safety concern is identified
- Report any unsafe conditions or behaviors to the instructor
Payment
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your training session.
Media Release
The waiver may include an optional media release allowing Seraph Tactical to use photos or videos from training for promotional purposes. You may opt out of the media release while still participating in training.
Emergency Contact & Medical Authorization
The waiver will request emergency contact information and authorization for emergency medical treatment if needed. In case of injury, you authorize Seraph Tactical to seek emergency medical care on your behalf.
Governing Law
The waiver is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from the waiver or training participation shall be resolved in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
What to Expect on Training Day
- Arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork
- Present valid government-issued photo ID
- Read and sign the Waiver and Release of Liability form
- Complete any additional forms (emergency contact, medical acknowledgment)
- Attend the safety briefing before training begins
